Course Highlights
This course features lecture notes.
It is offered during the Independent Activities Period (IAP), which is
a special 4-week term at MIT that runs from the first week of January
until the end of the month.
Course Description
This course introduces fundamentals of radon physics, geology,
radiation biology; provides hands on experience of measurement of radon
in MIT environments, and discusses current radon research in the fields
of geology, environment, building and construction, medicine and health
physics.
